Subject: Site Progress at Ukay Bistari
Dear YB Dato Seri,
We refer to the above project and wish to update status on the work i progress at Ukay Bistari.
a) workers at site as at 7 Dec 2011 is 195 workers.
b) Block A is completed pending the water supply and power supply. Syabas has informed that they have submitted for internal approval on our request for temporary water supply and has promised to revert with their official letter by next week. TNB will commence work for the line crossing next week, upon which the power supply should be ready. Provided there is no further conditions imposed by Syabas and TNB, we expect to hand over the units by 27 Dec 2011.
b) The handing over of Block D and E will be scheduled by early January 2012 as inspection by various authorities are still in progress.
c) Touching up/finishing works at Block B and C are in progress and we expect to hand over the buildings by Jan/Feb 2012.
d) Structural works for block F has reached the 11th floor and target to complete ( total 14 Floors) by end Dec 2011.
We are trying our level best to meet the committed deadlines and the delay on handing over is much regretted.
We humbly seek the Ministry kind assistance on the Syabas and TNB matter so that we could meet the handing over deadline for Block A.

THE ASSOCIATION ASSESSMENT ARE AS FOLLOWS
1. Developer passing the blame to Syabas
2. Its the responsibility of DBSB to pay Syabas RM1.4 mill in the form of bank guarantee and developer is trying to avoid
3. The date 27 Dec is unlikely to happen because developer has not meet syabas requirements.
4. Syabas has come out with new proposal on 9 Dec 2011. It is pending DBSB agreement. The proposal is fair and is something that DBSB has the ability to meet if he does not want think about profit first. Due to confidentiality agreement with LPHS, we are not able to share the details for now.
